Green Expo

The green expo is an event where EWB teams up with the local high school to educate the students in how to live a “greener” life. During the event members of EWB give a presentation on steps that have been taken to make our earth greener. They are educated on steps that they can take as well to make their everyday life more eco-friendly. The students, put in teams, then get to build an eco-friendly house that uses two sources of alternative energy. Once the houses are completed the students were asked to present their house so we could judge them and find a winner of the green home expo. Through this project were are making people more aware of whats going on in the world and how to improve the world from a younger age. The students who participate in the green expo get motivated to change their ways of living to be more eco-friendly because they are doing hands on learning.
